Strobel's rocking that new Kenda Sharpie up front! ;)
Curious, if there's only two what do they do if they're the wrong size for the winners?
People get rich off of filming MTB short films??? ha ha HAHAHHA.
Oh and they're filmers not bikers so the wouldn't possibly be able to appreciate a 9.9.
I know a guy whose angleset worked fine, mine. It popped once and never did after that.
Does popping actually do anything negative or is it just an annoying sound?
WHYYYYY!? Would ISCG tabs be so hard!?
The objective of a photograph isn't to impress other photographers and at the end of the day it isn't the most technically impressive photo that should win but the one that can impress the most people regardless of their knowledge of photography. I agree that on the technical side some of the winning photos were lacking but public voting is really the only way to judge how good a picture is. If it's all based on technicalities it ends up being photographer hipster-fest that ignores the end goal of photography - to drop as many jaws as possible!
The collective was one of the first real MTB movies that I watched. There are ton of good, cool and pretty movies out there but nothing seems to bring about that same feeling of wonder and excitement that the collective gave me when I first saw it.
Think of it this way, the lower your BB is, the easier it is to find something to lean your bike on. The beauty about the 13.5" BB is that you can practically lean it on the side walk! That should be something the 95% can better relate to! ;)
This, people have gotten their standards from a lot of old bikes. I had a Yeti ASX with a BB pushing 15", that would clip it's pedals like nobody's business. Rode very low. I've spent a lot of time on an M9, and it's one of lowest bikes out there. I hardly ever clip a pedal on the M9, gave me the confidence to pedal anywhere at anytime, while cornering or so be it.
I wish you could have seen more of the Philippines, I can guarantee that what you saw was just a tiny fraction of the country and a part of the riding scene. Freeride is almost non existent here but DH has been growing steadily. Visit the main island next time. More new place to see and ride! About Us
